Journey Update: November 2021I flipped my office calendar to November and just like that, our slow dance of 2021 is soon coming to an end. The next two months will be filled with holiday celebrations of Thanksgiving and Christmas. We pray you have a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones this month and remember amidst all the turkey and dressing, thank God for your many blessings. This past year has been difficult for many families, yet we can see the good hand of God in our lives.
We finished up our Haiti CareBox collection and packing the first part of November and shipped them out on November 9th. We shipped 667 CareBoxes and other items. Our shipper has assured us they will be able to deliver the boxes in spite of the violent situation in Haiti. We appreciate so much all the individuals and churches who have helped with this outpouring of love for our children in Haiti. This will be an important shot of hope to children in a country where the situation is just terrible.

Most of you have seen the news where seventeen missionaries (16 Americans and 1 Canadian) were kidnapped and are being held for ransom by a gang in Haiti. This is just another example of the difficulties and ruthless violence in a country that has suffered so much. We continue to pray and ask you to continue to pray for these missionaries and for the country of Haiti. [UPDATE: Thank God two were released on November 21, 2021.]
Our church and school staff in Bossier, Haiti have continued to work and minister in their community. I am in frequent contact with Pastor Baptiste and you can hear the concern in his voice. Our hope is in Jesus and His Kingdom taking root and bearing fruit in the fertile soil of hearts in Haiti.
Our other ministry partners around the world are praying and working hard to plant the seeds of the Gospel in the hearts of their people. Pathway Outreach reaches out with the Gospel of Christ to many far-flung corners of the world. Your hand, in our hand reaches out to six different countries of this big world. God has directed us to many outposts in this fallen world to share the Life of Christ to the poor, brokenhearted, captives, spiritually blind, and the oppressed.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of the sight to the blind, To set a liberty those who are oppressed; / To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19 NKJV).
We thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. Over these thirty years, we have received help ranging from coins to thousands of dollars. Each contribution was received with gratitude and thanksgiving to God. We have worked diligently to be good stewards of God’s blessings, realizing that we must give an account to God and to honor your sacrifice of blessings.
For our continued success, the blessings and favor of God are more important than ministry letters, websites, and social media. The favor and blessings of God, as we seek His face to walk in His ways, looms heavy upon our hearts. Without Jesus we can do nothing; He is our source. Thank you for being in the equation of our blessings from God.
Rejoicing in the salvation which is by grace through faith, I am…
Yours on the Journey,
Harry L. Whitt
