Harry’s New Book

I remember growing up as a small child with this burning urge to learn to read. When I was in the first grade, I missed a day of school and the first thing I asked my friends the next day was, “What was the new word we learned?” I still remember, it was the word, “duck.” I loved to read and still do. So now I have written a book.

Many people have encouraged me over the years to write a book, so now I have taken pen to paper and a book to a publisher. I plan to write three books in a series. My first book is Journey of the Messiah: The Awakening.

Journey of the Messiah: The Awakening is written from a first-person point of view, as if Jesus is telling His story. The life of the Son of God is told from before the incarnation in eternity, through His young life, and into His journey from the wilderness temptation to Galilee.

The story holds closely to the recorded biblical accounts for this thirty-year portion of His life. While little is recorded of the early years, much of the journey is left to our imagination. Such moments of His departure from heaven, conception, and awakening to His Messiahship are shared in this book.

In these pages, the personal experiences of the Son of God, as the Son of Man, are explored and pondered.

Come and take this journey in the sandals of Jesus the Messiah; experience His life, listen to His voice, and hear the beat of His heart from the glories of Heaven to the dusty roads of Earth.

The book is available in hardcover, softcover, or e-book form such as Kindle or Nook.. You can order a copy from my publisher, WestBow Press. Choose “USPS Regular Mail” for free shipping. You can order by clicking here. You can also use the QR Code below.

Yours on the Journey,

Harry L. Whitt
