We appreciate your prayers and continued financial support. I cannot express with mere words our thankfulness to God and to you for helping us. I pray for you every month. No one takes this journey of ministry alone and your support is an additional blessing of encouragement.
I have contact with our ministry partners all over the globe on a weekly basis. My Messenger “ping” goes off at all hours of the day and night depending on who is sending me a message. Our time difference ranges from one hour difference in one country to ten and one-half hours difference in another. Countries of the East are literally on the other side of the world. If you ever travel there, you can feel it. From my front door to theirs is about thirty-four hours of travel. And as close as the Caribbean is to us, door to door is about twelve hours with all the airport stops and bad roads. [Go coronavirus go, we need to go!!]
We are now in September and without wishing our life away, most of us are anxious to get 2020 behind us. Unfortunately, some of our problems may be lingering when we see the “ball drop” on January 1. Most of us are doing what we can and praying all we can for some solutions to the many problems facing us locally, nationally, and internationally. We need to encourage ourselves in the Lord!
Our deadline for our Christmas CareBox Project for our kids in Haiti is approaching. I know many of you are already preparing for this big project. The deadline this year will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at noon. You can access a guideline sheet on our website (www.pathwayoutreach.org) and click on the menu item “Christmas CareBoxes” under the Ministries Menu.
If all goes well, we plan to launch our new online Bible study/devotional “Journey with Jesus” on Thursday, September 10th at 7:00 pm. It will be Facebook Live on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/harrywhitt).
Please check out my blog at (www.pathwayjourney.com). I usually have a new post each week and you can read any past blogs in my archive.
Even though this COVID-19 has hampered us all, this ministry is still touching lives around the world through your help. Thanks again for helping us help others.
Rejoicing in the salvation which is by grace through faith, I am…
Yours on the Journey,
Harry L. Whitt
