It is crazy for an atheist to say he has a purpose. One cannot have a purpose if they are only an accidental biological blob careening through space and time.
We can only have purpose because of God. God has a plan based on a purpose.
One of the greatest revelations I have come to understand is the purpose of God in His creation and specifically in you and me. I firmly believe that we exist not because our daddy smiled at our mother and she smiled back; but we exist because God so desired for us to be. Your father and mother may have made a mistake, but you are not a mistake. God may not have approved of their mistake, but He dreamed and spoke you into existence.
In this world, there are persons who were conceived by rape or emotional kids in a moment of passion, yet those individuals have had a positive affect on those around them. People make mistakes but people are not mistakes.
God has a specific purpose and a planned agenda for our lives. We will only be fulfilled when we find it or slow down long enough until God’s purpose finds us. If we surrender to God, we cannot miss it.
In order to have a higher purpose, we must surrender to a Higher Being and there is only one Higher Being—the One True God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The trivial pursuit of life will never make sense. All things we touch, feel, see, and work ourselves into a frazzle to get, they will eventually turn to dust, ashes, and/or vapor. One thing will remain—our being in God’s being.
Trust Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. In Him we will find the way to true life. Listen to His own words, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV).
You may have tried everything else and still your bucket is empty. Try another well. Look to Jesus for your answers and your fulfillment.
