It is a foolish man to question God, as if his insight is greater than God’s wisdom. The very thought of this is laughable. When we compare the wisdom of man to the wisdom of God, it is like comparing a one cell organism to a million Einstein-like scholars.

If you think long and hard about sleep, the whole concept is a little weird. Your conscious self goes somewhat dormant and oblivious to your surroundings for almost a third of the day. Yeah, just admit it, it is weird, but we have done it all our lives.
Most of us during periods of our lives went through a time when we were just sleep-walking through life. We were doing the same thing day in and day out in a semi-slumber mode. Then something dramatic happens and we are awakened to a new reality.

Everyone has been at a point in their lives when they didn’t know what to do next. It is difficult to be at a crossroads not knowing which way to go.

On Father’s Day, I will mark sixteen years, five months, and seven days being a grandfather. I am affectionately called Papa by my second-generation posterity. Actually, most of my close clan call me that now, it fits me better. I look, walk, and feel like a Papa more than the title of Daddy or Babe. Don’t laugh!!

Tick-Tock goes the clock. It is strange how slow the minute hands move if we are impatiently waiting. Then in comparison, how fast they seem to move when we are late and scrambling to get ready and out the door. The span of our lives is constructed by moments.

In the history of the world, there have been seasons or eras of great darkness. One example in the last century was the Great Depression which was sandwiched between the two Great World Wars. These three events cast a dark shadow over the world for about thirty-one continuous years. The world has been under a shadow of darkness since the fall of man in the book of Genesis.
Amid this darkness, there have been periods of relative peace and prosperity. Jesus spoke about this darkness and His light, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NKJV).

Historical Fiction based on the Life of William Whitt (1775-1850)
I had just started school in the fall of 1781. I noticed right off that all the pupils in my class had a father except me and two others. Being fatherless was all I had ever known. My father died in the War of Independence while they were encamped at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania with General George Washington. I was only about two years old when my father left to fight. I had no lasting memory of him or his dying in the spring of 1778.

Artificial Intelligence and Truth
In the last few weeks there has been a lot of hoopla about AI (artificial intelligence). The very name “artificial” intelligence is telling. Artificial lemon flavoring means it tastes like lemons, but it is not real lemons. Perhaps AI is not real intelligence at all. Anything with the fingerprint of man has the potential for a bad purpose even though it was brought forth with the best of intentions. It appears that AI in some cases is already fabricating lies (misinformation if you please).

I remember growing up as a small child with this burning urge to learn to read. When I was in the first grade, I missed a day of school and the first thing I asked my friends the next day was, “What was the new word we learned?” I still remember, it was the word, “duck.” I loved to read and still do. So now I have written a book.
Many people have encouraged me over the years to write a book, so now I have taken pen to paper and a book to a publisher. I plan to write three books in a series. My first book is Journey of the Messiah: The Awakening.
